Day 01: IXB/NJP – Gangtok

Land of monastery, mystic rituals/festivals at an elevation of 1,437 meters / 4,715 feet is the most often visited spot in India for its rare Orchids and Butterflies. Evening is free for leisure ..

Day 02 : Gangtok local sightseeing 

Early morning Breakfast – Next visit Tashi view point, Gonjang Monastery, Ganesh Tok, Drodul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, Bakthang waterfalls, Ropeway (Cable car), Ban Jhakri fall's, flower show. 
Night stay at Gangtok. 
 

Day 03: Gangtok – Tsomgo lake – Baba mandir

 After breakfast, we go on an excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake/Changu Lake. The tranquil water of this beautiful lake harmonizes with the picturesque scenery around. We shall also visit Baba Mandir, built in the honor of an Indian Army soldier, Captain ‘Baba’ Harbhajan Singh. Gangtok: Nathula Pass Indo China Border (Prior Information Required) . Nathula Operation Is Subject To Road Conditions and the Availability Of Permits Since there are limited no Nathula permits with the Govt of Sikkim. We do not give 100% assurance that the permit will come out even after applying with your name and id proof. We will inform you 48 hours before your tour, whether permits have been issued or not. Nathula Service Cannot Be Availed On Monday and Tuesday. Nathula Visit Is Not Advisable To Guests Having Problem With Blood Pressure, Knee & Heart. Since Nathula Is A Restricted Area Any Time Army can see it For Security Reasons. In Such Case, the Tour Will Only Be Till Tshangu Lake And No Refund Will Be Allowed For Unutilized Services. Important Message: As per the directive from Sikkim Tourism, a trip to Nathula would be clubbing (sharing) before 4 km. On the way to reach, irrespective of the fact of an exclusive or shared journey from Gangtok.

Day 04: Gangtok –Darjelling

This morning after breakfast, drive to the beautiful hill station of Darjeeling in West Bengal. Darjeeling fondly called "Queen of the Hills” provides a perfect getaway for those seeking to be in harmony with nature. Evening free to explore.

Day 05: Darjeeling sightseeing 

Early Morning (4 am), we shall drive to Tiger Hill, famous for the beautiful sunrise over Mt. Kangchenjunga is the third-highest mountain in the world. On the way back to our hotel for breakfast, we shall visit the Ghoom Monastery (famous for its 15-foot-high statue of Maitreya Buddha) and Batasia Loop. From the Batasia Loop, one can get a panoramic view of Darjeeling town with the Kanchenjunga. Later, we go for a sightseeing tour wherein we shall visit the popular Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) TenzingRock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), and the famous Tea Gardens. 
Night stay at Darjeeling. 
 

Day 06: Darjeeling – IXB/NJP Drop 

After breakfast, drive to New Jalpaiguri Rly station/ Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey with memories of a lifetime..
 


Dos
  • Dress modestly while visiting religious establishments. Cover yourself from head to toe and be aware of the customs and cultures
  • Since Sikkim is situated at a significant height, breathing issues are a common problem. Keep the necessary medicines handy. It is also advisable to visit a doctor before you embark on your journey
  • Reliance Jio and Airtel network works best
  • Drink sufficient amount of water to avoid dehydration, especially in the hilly areas
  • Respect local culture and take permission before photographing
  • Carry about 10 hardcopies of photos and Id proofs for a permit. It is required to visit major sightseeing places and failing to do so can restrict    you to enter in these protected zones
Don’ts
  • If you choose to go trekking, make certain to follow the designed path only. Do not cross over grasslands and interrupt the fragile vegetation
  • Do not litter in the forested areas. It is punishable by law. Always carry back all the waste litter such as plastic bags, cans, empty bottles etc. Also, do not play loud music in these areas
  • It is not allowed to swim in the rivers, lakes or glaciers in the protected areas
  • Smoking and drinking in public areas, sightseeing spots and sacred sites are restricted. If you are found doing so, you will be punished under the law
  • Buying or dealing in products made from the skins of endangered species or of any another animal is strictly prohibited. Buying and selling of antiques are also illegal as per the government norms in Sikkim
  • Avoid the use of slangs and touching the locals while talking and maintain a healthy space when roaming in the city
